With ranges embracing literally hundreds of different products, and the facility to develop bespoke products right from scratch, it's impossible for us to detail all our belts here. Instead you'll find a brief introduction to the key properties of our class-leading belts – our brochure and UK-based technical team can help explain them all in more detail.
We produce four key types of conveyor belt here at Chiorino, each with a different surface material – polyurethane, PVC, elastomer or silicone. Each of these different coverings offers its own special properties and benefits, and is applied to a textile carcass made from polyester, cotton, polyamide or fibreglass, depending on the specific application the belt will be used for. We can also produce belts with special features including guides, profiles and sidewalls, or designed and cut to suit curved conveyors.
Made using state-of-the-art production processes, all our belts deliver one or a combination of the following key benefits: anti-static; lighter weight for improved energy efficiency; resistance to high and low temperatures; high abrasion resistance for longer life; moisture resistance; suitability for small rollers; availability in widths of up to 3.4 metres; variable surface friction coefficients; resistance to oils and chemicals; low noise outputs; high traverse rigidity and dimensional stability; flame retardant in accordance with DIN 22103 and ISO 340; food quality types to FDA, 2005/79/CE and HACCP standards.
The end result is belts that match your budget and application perfectly, delivering the kind of performance, longevity and long-term cost-efficiency your commercial success depends on.
Polyurethane

Perfect for addressing demanding and more specialised or high-tech applications.
Particularly, but not exclusively, suitable for more technical or lightweight applications, our polyurethane belts can offer a wide range of benefits depending on the specific design and composition of the belt.
PVC

Robust and reliable belts offering superb cost efficiency for medium to heavy applications.
Often used in medium to heavy applications, our PVC belts are built to take abuse and offer superb cost efficiency through a combination of long life and low maintenance. These belts are available in a variety of colours, feature moisture resistant polyester carcases and can be coated on one or both sides.
Elastomers

Ideal in applications where impact resistance is paramount.
As well as superior grip and high levels of resistance to potential damage caused by oil and wear, our elastomer belts offer superb impact resistance.
Silicone
![]()
The obvious choice when an application demands maximum grip or heat resistance.
In addition to their high grip and friction coefficient, certain Chiorino silicone belts are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 230°C, making them a great choice in applications such as drying tunnels.
High Performance Range (HP)

These belts are designed and manufactured to address ultra-specialised, highly demanding or even one-off applications.
Making the most of our design and engineering expertise, our HP belts boast performance benefits that really set them apart. Perfect for critical applications addressing complex manufacturing problems, our HP belts and systems are designed around a customer's highly specific needs. The belts themselves are likely to offer a wide range of the technical features and performance benefits mentioned in the Product Overview above.
